Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
